DEPARTMENT: Therapy Services/Balance Disorders Center
REPORTS TO: Clinical Coordinator of Outpatient Therapy Services
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Provides a broad range of audiological services to patients of all ages, including diagnostics, ABR, VNG, and hearing instrument fittings. Works in harmony with the staff of the Balance Center.
QUALIFICATIONS: Must have excellent customer service skills; ability to work well with other members of the Balance Team (ie physicians, physical therapists, patients and families, and clerical staff); and technical aptitude. Experience working with an adult and geriatric population is preferred. Providing services to people with physical disabilities is desirable.
EDUCATION: Requires a Masters or Doctorate in Audiology, CCC with a minimum 2 years of experience preferred.
LICENSURE: Must have Arizona license.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to sit 6-7 hours daily and operate diagnostic equipment and/or computer terminal; ability to bend at the knees and stoop or bend to operate equipment. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
