Epic Access and Revenue Report Writer
Weekends as needed for special projects, etc.
This position analyzes, provides specifications for, and writes individual reports for access and revenue cycle applications. Serves as the primary reporting resource and has responsibility and focus on system support, maintenance, analysis, design, specifications documentation, change control, and versioning of all reporting components used to build and manage hospital reporting. Meets with Epic application analysts and departmental users to understand their reporting needs, and creates new reports or modifies existing reports to meet their needs.
Qualifications: Requires an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business or clinical related field or equivalent work experience. 3 – 5 years experience in the healthcare field with business systems reports writing experience including designing, creating, validating, implementing, and supporting the organizations business and revenue cycle reporting needs. Excellent analysis, problem solving, trouble-shooting and customer service skills. In-depth knowledge and experience with relational database concepts, programming, systems analysis and design, and query tools. Sound knowledge of Microsoft SQL database structure and knowledge of SQL query techniques. Experience with Business Objects, Crystal Reports, or other reporting software packages.
