Summary: Performs all the duties of the Cytotechnologist with additional responsibilities for quality control, instrument maintenance, procedure manual review and department scheduling. The Cytotechnologist is also responsible for the safe handling and movement of hazardous materials, including waste at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center.
CT (ASCP) certification. ThinPrep cytology training and certification
Bachelor's degree in clinical lab, physical or biological science
Excellent customer service skills
Computer proficiency required
Ability to read, write and communicate in English
Ability to maintain confidential information.
