- 12 hour shifts on floor with every Tuesday meetings

opportunities for Nurse Managers to join our 50 bed, full-service, state-of-the-art

In addition to the ability to work in a stressful environment and the ability to direct
individual accomplishments toward organizational directives, we require:
State of Virginia RN licensure (or eligibility)BSN (MSN preferred)
BLS, ACLS, PALS and TNCC, ENPC, BCEN, CEN is preferred
A minimum 1 year of ED experience
A minimum 2 years staff nurse experience
One to 2 years of leadership and/or management experience
Demonstrated leadership qualities by serving successfully in a leadership
capacity (i.e., charge, team lead, preceptor, educator, etc.)
Experience with computerized systems and programs such as Amelior,
Pre-admit Tracking, Gateway, Lotus Notes, MS Office, etc.
Care is managed through a nationally recognized system (RATED-ER) created by our
physicians and nurses that allows us to care for the most critically ill patients, while at the
same time providing timely care for patients who can be treated and sent home.
