Carson Tahoe Health (CTH) is a not-for-profit healthcare system with 240 licensed acute care beds. Serving a population of over 250,000, CTH features two hospitals, two urgent cares, an emergent care center, outpatient services and a provider network with 19 regional locations. The system is headquartered on a beautiful master planned 80-acre medical campus nestled among the foothills of the Sierra Nevada in North Carson City. As the system's cornerstone, Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center (CTRMC), voted 5th most beautiful hospital in the nation, was the first Baby-Friendly designated hospital in Nevada. SUMMARY: Performs a variety of imaging procedures, including CT scans, to obtain images for use in diagnosis and treatment of pathologies. Assists radiologists and other specialists in performing diagnostic and interventional procedures. Provides procedure-related patient care and education. Maintains records and documentation of procedures.

Registration with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiography and CT
Current BCLS/CPR certification for healthcare providers required
Knowledge of general anatomy, including high level understanding of cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
Ability to establish and maintain
effective relationships with physicians, nurses, patients and their families and co-workers
Must be able to work on call and at any in or out patient location according to a monthly schedule or
Basic computer skills required for: ·
Accessing and navigating CTRH intranet for forms, policies and procedures
Accessing and entering data on organization wide software such as etime and Outlook email
Accessing and using internet resources where required perform job duties
Accessing and using Chartmaxx, Omnicare, PAC's, Vocera and HRM systems for patient, department and hospital records.
