Summary: Performs multiple environmental tasks daily in accordance with the following hospital policies: Infection Control, Fire & Safety, Blood Borne Pathogens, Hazcom, and Emergency Preparedness. Demonstrates proper chemical knowledge and the usage and handling of all cleaning chemicals and supplies.
Possesses proper equipment knowledge and equipment safety training to follow the seven steps of cleaning in accordance with the established policies and procedures of the department.
Carries out multiple daily tasks including hard floor and carpet care.
Basic knowledge equivalent to completion of two to four years of high school.
Must be able to work rotating holidays and every other weekend
Must be able to accept shift changes.
Must speak, comprehend, and read English
Prior housekeeping experience preferred
