Responsible for the delivery of coordinated care to surgical patients assinged. Coordinates care with Charge Nurse, Department of Surgical Services and co-workers to maintain the Standard of Nursing Practice and safety of patients in the OR. Works closely with physicians, provides service to the "physician customer" to provide excellent patient care. The Nurse is responsible for supervising and responsibly directing the activities of the various levels of assigned nursing and ancillary personnel utilizing both professional and supervisory discretion and with independent judgement. Requirements: CA RN license. At least one year of recent Operating Room experience preffered. One year recent critical care and/or surgivcal nursing experience evaluated. Will consider New Graduate RN's. Membership in A.O.R.N. desirable. Current CPR.
A positive attitude, California RN license, IV therapy,ACLS and CPR certification required. Must have two years of critical care experience.
