Behavioral Health Clinician
The Behavioral Health (BH) Clinician is responsible to assess and give legal oversight to identified 'at risk' patients on the medical acute units. The BH Clinician is to work collaboratively with members of the acute medical team to ensure patient safety and that the behavioral components of care are being addressed. This position will also work with the acute team and the behavioral health team in facilitating patient transfer to behavioral health when deemed appropriate. Duties and ResponsibilitiesBH Clinician will maintain hospital and county compliance with LPS designation and regulations.BH Clinician should also be credentialed as an Allied Health Member per Medical Staff Office bylaws. Education and QualificationsBachelor degree in Nursing or related health care field preferred.Currently licensed as Registered Nurse in California.RN is to have recent clinical experience with at least 3 years in an acute psychiatric setting.
