A seasonal nurse works during periods of peak patient volume for a minimum of 4 months with varying start dates. Agreements may include housing stipend, completion bonus or eligibility of full seasonal benefits, depending on the length of agreement. The Registered Nurse independently plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care in patient care situations using standards of care and policy and procedure. Provides direct nursing care to patients. Assumes teaching and leadership responsibilities. Participates in unit committee and quality improvement activities.
Bachelor's Degree (BSN) requirement: Must currently be enrolled in a program or must commit to acquiring a BSN within a period of 3yrs effective actual start date of employment with the NCH Healthcare System.
Current Florida RN licensure to work on a medical telemetry unit.
Must have at least 2+yrs current RN experience in acute care setting w/telemetry.
Current certification in Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers required.
