POSITION SUMMARY: Assists physicians with diagnostic and therapeutic GI procedures. Responsible for care, maintenance, inventory and reorder of all GI related supplies and equipment. REQUIREMENTS: Operates, cleans and maintains procedure equipment such as endoscopes, video and microprocessor instruments, biopsy forceps, stints, cautery, etc. SKILLS: Strong organizational skills; ability to work collaboratively with others; ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to read, write and speak fluent English. Ability to work at a rapid pace under stressful conditions. EXPERIENCE: Two years GI lab technician experience preferred, outpatient setting.
