Notes	Registered Nurse - Telemetry The Registered Nurse position in our 61-bed step down Telemetry unit is seeking a positive, team player to care for cardiac patients who have had pacemakers, angina, heart attacks, heart disease and much more. Job accountabilities include, but are not limited to, collecting subjective and/or objective data systematically and routinely by using basic physical assessment skills to identify and prioritize the patient's actual and/or potential problems or needs, completing admission assessment forms, participating in the patient's discharge-planning process in order to identify the need for post-hospital care needs and adhering to strict patient confidentiality.Must have a current PA RN license or out-of-state license holding a temporary practice permit. BCLS certified. ACLS preferred. Previous experience working as a RN in acute care required with previous critical care experience preferred. Daily working conditions involve sustained physical effort such as lifting/moving of patients weighing up to 150lbs. Mobility throughout the unit is required, sometimes urgently. May be required to work irregular hours. Risk of lost time due to occupational hazards, such as exposure to unpleasant odors, communicable diseases, blood/body fluids, puncture wounds, cut and abrasions exist. Computer eye strain is possible.
