Notes	RN L&D (perm) PERM ONLY. LDRP - Obsetrics/L&D, Antepartum Care, Postpartum and Nursery (couplet care), C sections, circulate and recovery (regional anesthesia only) and OB tech scrub. Postpartum clinic, intake interviews, lactation consultants, neonatal bereavement program. Candidates must have 1 year L&D experience. Eligible for benefits 30 days after first date of hire. Relocation bonus of $4000 and relocation assistance of 1/12th of annual salary. Salary based entirely on years of experience/skills. Shift differentials $3.50 for night, $3.50 for weekends, $2.25 for evenings. Nurse to patient ratio: Couplets = 1 RN to 3-4 couplets, L&D = 3-4 antepartum pts, 1-2 L&D patients. # of Beds? LDRP = 18, Used for long-term antepartum and some postpartum, 11 bed area for postpartum (couplets) only. Patient populations: Obstetric & Newborn, occasional GYN patient from Surgical overflow. Orientation for new grads is 12 weeks. New-to-Obstetrics RN is 8-12 weeks, Experienced L&D/postpartum is 6-8 weeks Medication dispense information: Accudose, scan meds in Care Manager postpartum. Mixture/ratio of experienced RN�s to new RN�s - Each shift staffed with 9-11 RN's at least 5-6 are L&D experienced. Equipment used - thermometer, BP machine, fetal monitor, glucometer, iSTAT, O2 sats, Oxygen & Suction adult and infant, Birthing bed, delivery tables, IV pumps, radiant warmers with infant resuscitative equipment built in and OR equipment for the C-Sections. Digital camera, newborn hearing screening machine, computers, infant car seats, Nextel phone. Facility will pay 18-20% perm fee.
