Azteria ("Azteria", "we", "us") respects and protects the privacy of the people that use our services.
Azteria provides an opportunity management system for candidates and employers in the United States Healthcare Industry. For employment candidates, we proactively communicate your skills and employment preferences across a large number of potential employers that you identify as places you would want to work. We also allow you to sort and select existing opportunities. For employers, we find candidates that match your needs by extensively profiling candidates before they are introduced to you.
What are you agreeing to?
By visiting our Site, you grant us permission to collect anonymous information about you and use it in summary (anonymous) form without further release.
In the event you register for our services, you grant us permission to collect personally identifiable information about you and use it to represent you to recruiters, agencies, facilities, and any other entity we deem necessary and relevant in locating employment opportunities, without further release. Personally identifiable information includes your full name, email address, and physical address, as well as other information you agree to provide us in relation to the services we offer, including information included on any resume you provide, and information we obtain in the profiling process. In addition, if you register for our services, we may collect information about you from our clients and others in the course of providing the services we offer, and we may also collect information from our own research using the Internet and other sources.
What information do we collect in addition to the information that you voluntarily provide?
In addition to the information that you specifically and knowingly provide, Azteria notes and saves information such as time of day, browser type, browser language, and IP address of each visitor to our Site. That information is used to audit and improve our records, to provide more relevant services, detect and deter fraud, and create supplemental information about you. For example, Azteria may use the date of your last visit to our Site to estimate your enthusiasm about your job search.
We may also place tracking devices such as cookies on your computer. A "cookie" is a small text file that helps us determine information such as the type of content to which a visitor of the Site links, and the length of time each visitor spends at any particular area of the Site, as well as how often they visit our Site. In addition, if you register for our services, you have the option of requesting that we save your user ID and password so that you don't have to re-enter that information when you revisit the Site. This feature is accomplished through the use of a cookie.
You can configure your browser to accept all cookies, reject all cookies or notify you when a cookie is set. If you reject all cookies, you will not be able to use those services that automatically log you into our Site.
Please note that you should only request that we save your user ID and password if you are the exclusive user of your computer. In the event that others use your computer, or if you are accessing our Site from a public computer, you should elect not to use this feature as other people may obtain unauthorized access to your account with us.
Our Policy on Collecting Information from Children
We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children who are younger than 18 years of age.
How do we use and disclose the information we collect?
We use the information that we collect to conduct and improve upon the services we offer. The following are examples of how we may use personally identifiable information, as well as other information.
1. Information Pertaining to Employment Candidates:
(a) We use the information we have collected about a candidate to identify opportunities that we think may be of interest to the candidate. We will not share personally identifiable information about a candidate to a potential employer unless the candidate has requested or otherwise consented to the disclosure. Candidates acknowledge that although Azteria diligently attempts to ensure that our partner employers are solely interested in placing our candidates in their desired healthcare position, our partners are independent entities over which Azteria exercises no control. By requesting or consenting to our disclosure of your personally identifiable information, you agree to hold us free from any liability as a result of such exchange of information.
(b) We may use the information we collect on candidates for purposes of developing and improving the services we offer. We also may aggregate information that we collect, and use such aggregated information for promoting the service and opportunities we present as well as generating and disclosing statistical information regarding our candidates and placement activities. Information used in aggregate is not traceable to an individual.
2. Information Pertaining to Employers:
We collect information pertaining to employers and potential employers of our candidates, including business contact information, and use such information in providing our services. We may contact employers from time to time regarding their needs and the services we provide.
3. Sharing of Information with Third-Parties
We work with third parties who provide services that may include assessment validation services, website hosting, data analysis, resume verification, background checking, fax and e-mail services, and other administrative and back-up and security services. By registering for the services, you agree that we have the right to share personally identifiable information with such third parties for the purpose of obtaining their services.
4. Other Uses of Information:
(a) We may use personally identifiable information to contact you from time to time to ensure that the information we have collected is accurate and up to date.
(b) If you contact us by email or by telephone, or otherwise through the Site, we may keep a record of your correspondence.
(c) We may send information to you concerning our services or other promotional materials by email, and you consent to the receipt of such materials.
(d) We may share your personally identifiable information with our affiliated companies and strategic partners.
(e) We will release specific personal information about you if required to do so in order to comply with any valid legal process such as a search warrant, subpoena, statute, or court order.
Use of Data by Employers and Others
We cannot and do not assume any responsibility for the actions or omissions of third parties, such as employers, service providers, candidates or other third parties, including the manner in which they use information received either from us or from other independent sources.
Changing or Deleting Personal Information
You may change information that you have provided to us by following the posted instructions. If you would like to have your information removed from our database, please contact us at support(at)Azteria(dot)com and place "Remove User"in the subject line of the email, and include your full name, your User ID and telephone number in the body of your email. We will use reasonable efforts to comply with your request. Even if we delete you from our system, you acknowledge that there will be residual information that will remain within our databases, access logs and other records, which may or may not contain your personally identifiable information. The residual information will not be used for commercial purposes, however, we reserve the right to use such information to contact you from time to time, but only for our own internal purposes.
