Provide therpaists support by maintaining clean equipment, stocking supply areas, delivery of equipment, performing incentive spirometers. After completion of second semester, the RTA may also provide bonchodilator therpay via nebulizers, MDI's, and or EzPAP/IPPB. Must be currently enrolled in an accredited Respiratory Therapy program, and have succefully completed the first semester. Must be able to provide excellent instructor references and provide proof of enrollment after each semester.

| Oversees the process of equipment handling to include the sterilization and disinfection of reusable respiratory critical care equipment. Assures an appropriate supply of disposable respiratory care supplies and medical gases are available to practitioners throughout the network. Includes CC, 17th and LVH-M sties. Work requires High School education. Work requires adherence to infection control guidelines related to cleaning of clinical equipment. Work requires attention to detail in equipment assembly and checking of proper operation. Work requires understanding of computer function and ability to learn new software support. Work may require heavy lifting. Work requires the ability to interact with many levels of healthcare professionals and the general public.
