The pharmacist interacts with physicians, nurses and other health care personnel, directs the activities of technical support personnel and participates in undergraduate experiential pharmacy education. Botsford Hospital is a 330 bed nationally recognized Osteopathic teaching institution and regional campus for the Michigan State University College of osteopathic medicine. Botsford offers services in over 45 specialties, including minimally; invasive joint surgery, stroke care and angioplasty. Our emergency department is the second busiest in Oakland County and designated as a Level II Trauma Center. A. Minimum Education: A level of knowledge normally acquired through completion of a B.S. or Pharm.D. program from an accredited college of pharmacy. B. Minimum Work Experience: Completion of internship requirements as determined by the State of Michigan and one year of experience in a hospital pharmacy. C. Certification, Licensure, Registration: Licensed as a Registered Pharmacist in the State of Michigan. Licensed to dispense controlled substances in the State of Michigan. CB
