- Basic Life Support (BLS) - Registered Nurse (RN) - 1-2 years experience required - 3-5 years experience is preferred - Experience in related field is required Prior telemetry experience and ACLS are preferred for this position SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL FOR THIS POSITION PAYS20% FOR WEEKDAYS & 30% FOR WEEKENDS In clinical settings, the registered professional nurse cares for patients using the nursing process, independent judgment, and evidenced based practice to assess and treat responses to actual or potential health problems. Maintains clinical competency and adheres to ethical principles of practice as defined by the Nurse Practice Act and the ANA code of ethics for nurses. Demonstrates ongoing competency in practice through participation in professional organizations and committees. Coordinates care with other disciplines; delegates tasks to other nursing staff; supervises staff in their delivery of care and evaluation of results. Regularly evaluates nursing staff for nursing acts. Addresses individuals when infractions are identified. Reports breaches in clinical or ethical standards to supervisor.

The Resident Assistant provides direct and indirect care to 16 year olds to geriatric to meet their physical, educational, psychosocial and spiritual needs. The Resident Assistant also functions as a communication link between the residential outpatients and counseling staff. Supports and implements patient safety and other safety practices as appropriate. Implements and abides by Customer Service Standards. Education: High School Graduate or equivalent with 2 years post secondary training in related field including courses in psychology, sociology, and/or addictions preferred. Experience: Six months experience in nursing assistant or similar role preferred. Orientation will be provided to obtain desired level of competence in lieu of chemical dependency experience. Experience with computers and typing skills preferred. Orientation and training will be given to obtain the desired entry level competence, in lieu, of experience. Special Requirements: BCLS is required. Ability to effectively handle escalating behavior. Any persons who have direct client contact must have been free of chemical use problems for at least the one year immediately preceding their hiring and must sign a statement attesting to that fact. Chemical use problems includes the following: Receiving treatment for chemical use within the period specified for the position in the staff qualification requirements; Chemical use that has a negative impact on the staff member’s job performance; Chemical use that affects the credibility of the treatment services with clients, referral sources or other members of the community; and ssymptoms of intoxication or withdrawal on the job.

"Hourly Pay" is an estimated hourly pay including a typical benefits package, which will be customized for each person depending on your needs and desires. However, the Total Compensation Value can not be exceeded.
Typical benefits used in this calculation are based on three 12 hour shifts per week and a thirteen week contract.
Benefits include basic health insurance $1.25/hour ($180/month), travel $0.69/hour ($300/contract) and housing $9.03/hour ($1300 per month).
