Looking for someone who could be flexible to work both days 7-3:30 and evenings 3-11 depending on our schedule need during the time with us.
This position exists for the preparation and distribution of surgical supplies, instrumentation and equipment. In addition to surgical instrumentation, the tech is also responsible for the OB, ER, & Med Surg Unit instrumentation. The incumbent is responsible for monthly maintenance of surgical equipment. Ensures the efficacy of the sterilization process by using biological and chemical indicators in accordance with guidelines. This position will check documentation, storage and delivery of all sterilized items. This position exists to assist the Operating Room Services staff in the preparation and distribution of instrumentation, supplies and utensils for surgical procedures. This position reports to the Manager, OR/Central Sterile.
QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
Requires certification as a Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) with maintenance of certification.
Requires CPR Heartsaver certification.
